Late goal ends Dragons winning run

A 90th minute goal ended the Dragons' run of four straight league wins. The goal came from a corner which was bundled home from close range by Holland. The game had been a closely fought affair with David Lopez and Matt Tapley coming closest for Wivenhoe before Holland began to create chances in the second half with Ben Gallifant being called upon to make several sharp stops. After going behind, Wivenhoe also had a strong shout for a penalty turned down in injury time.

The Dragons have won their last six fixtures at the Blackstone Stadium and are back in home action next Saturday 23rd November when Barkingside are the visitors.
