Wivenhoe Town will face Heybridge Swifts at Heybridge Swifts Football Club on Wednesday 5th April in the final of this season's Tolleshunt D'Arcy Memorial Cup. The game kicks off at 19:45pm.

The Essex FA considered the remaining fixtures of both sides when determining a date for the final. Next week was the only available midweek slot that would not interfere with the busy schedules of both sides.

The Dragons progressed to the final by beating two sides from the Essex Senior League, a step above the Thurlow Nunn First Division. Little Oakley were beaten 2 - 1 in the quarter final and Saffron Walden on penalties following a 1 - 1 draw.

Heybridge Swifts will be an even tougher test for Wivenhoe, they play their football in the Isthmian Division One North, two steps above the Dragons. They reached the final after beating National League South side Chelmsford City in a dramatic penalty shootout after scoring a late equaliser. Heybridge are in contention to secure a playoff spot for promotion to the Isthmian Premier Division.

The Tolleshunt D'Arcy Memorial Cup is the Essex FA's annual Charity fundraiser for their benevolent fund. Featuring sides from the Northern half of Essex it runs each year and benefits injured players. The Dragons won the competition several times in the 1970s.
