Wivenhoe Town Football Club would like to welcome the new first manager Craig Gillam and his Assistant Steve Harris to the Dragons. Craig is an experience manager whose most recent role was at Dunmow Town.

Chairman Mo Osman said: "Everyone is very pleased to have Craig and Steve on board. After some difficult seasons we are sure he can help us rebuild and come back stronger."

New Wivenhoe Town Manager Craig Gillam said:
"I’m delighted to be part of such a great club with so many good people involved. As soon as I saw the manager’s position become available, I knew it was a role I wanted.

I have strong ambitions as a manager to keep pushing forward, and Wivenhoe share those same ambitions, with the facilities and backing to achieve them.

There is a lot of hard work to do with the squad before the season starts, but we will do everything needed to help push the club in the right direction and bring success back again.

Once I spoke with the club about their ambitions, I knew this was the right place for me.

I can’t wait for the season to begin and to help bring success back to Wivenhoe Town FC."
