Wivenhoe Town Football Club were extremely sad to learn that Mike Boyle, former chairman of the club, recently passed away. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mike at this difficult time.

Mike and his family dedicated so much time supporting the club and performing many roles in the nineties and early 2000s. Mike was Chairman of the Club until 2009, having also performed the roles of Club Secretary, Vice-Chair, Programme Editor and of course supporter over the years.

Although Mike's visits to the club became less frequent in recent years, he is fondly remembered by the SOBs and other long term supporters of Wivenhoe Town.
