The FA have announced the provisional league allocations for the 2023/24 Season. Wivenhoe Town have been laterally transferred from the Eastern Counties First Division South to the First Division North.

The Dragons will share a Division with the step six sides from North Essex but also gave some longer trips across East Anglia.

Stanway Pegasus have joined the Dragons in having been transferred from First Division South to First Division North.

Promoted to the division from Step 7 football are Anglian Combination Champions Dussindale and Hellesdon Rovers and FC Peterborough from the Peterborough and District League.

Haverhill Rovers and Whitton United have been relegated into the Division from the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division.

There will be 21 clubs in the Division next season.

Allocations are provisional and subject to appeal.
