Wivenhoe Town has once again shown a strong desire and innovative spirit to look beyond the horizon and the singular use of football at Broad Lane, through working with key partners and current users of the site as well as any other potential community groups we are hopeful that Broad Lane becomes a home for a huge number of diverse organisations from within the local community.

We are actively working with the Trust and all member clubs to achieve investment to bring this development together and one for the whole community. If all organisations can work positively together, we firmly believe Broad Lane Sports Ground has exciting times ahead.

With thanks to those who attended last nights Wivenhoe & District Sports Trust meeting, where as part of the night Kevin Hall presented plans for viewing and discussion on the future of Broad Lane Sports Ground.

There will be a further presentation/ overview of the plans by Kevin at the Anthony Clavane ‘Promised Land’ Evening, to be held next Thursday 7th October, from 8pm in the Broad Lane Clubhouse.
