Coaching team confirmed and pre-season underway!

Jeff Welsh confirms coaching team as Wivenhoe Town begin pre-season training.

Jeff Welsh will be joined by Elliot McIver-Jones and Nick Mcglinchey in the Wivenhoe Town dugout next season.

Elliot McIver-Jones steps up to the role as Assistant Manger. Elliot remains in the senior setup having held the role of coach as part of last season's First Team Management team. McIver-Jones has previously worked with our Under 23s.

The club is also pleased to welcome back Nick Mclinchey to the club as First Team Coach. Nick was previously a part of former Manager Gary Monti's coaching team.

With the coaching team in place, the Dragons senior teams returned to pre-season training last week.

The Dragons' preliminary pre-season fixture list has also been confirmed:

July 8th - TBC - Away - 19:45 - Min Step 6 opposition being sought
July 12th - Thorpe Athletic - Shrub End - 13:00
July 16th - Alresford Colne Rangers - Taylor Wimpey Stadium - 19:45
July 19th - Great Bentley - The Green, Great Bentley - 15:00
July 22nd - Clacton Regent - Plough Corner - 18:45

The Thurlow Nunn League AGM takes places this week, so the first few week's fixtures are expected to be released next week.

Following the AGM, the club will be in a position to release news about players to have been retained followed by new signings.

Season Tickets are now available to purchase, with prices unchanged. Payment can be arranged by speaking to a club official at a game, or by contacting the club on admin@wivenhoetownfc.com or by message to 07739 745335.
