Wivenhoe Town face Harwich & Parkeston on Saturday 23rd September in a North Essex derby and we'll be celebrating the club and it's place in the community with a series of youth games ahead of the senior match.

The ground will be open from 1pm with matches taking place between youth teams from Wivenhoe Town, Wivenhoe Tempest and Harwich & Parkeston.

The Dragons now have ten youth teams from Under 7s to Under 18s and have created a pathway for local players into the First team through our Under 23s. The First team squad last weekend featured George Horrock and Zane Richards, young players who have come through playing for our youth teams.

The day is also a chance to use the club house, a great community asset which is available to hire having undergone a series of refurbishments over the past few years.

So join us on Saturday to celebrate the whole club, catch some of our youth teams in action then watch what should be an exciting local derby against Hawrich & Parkeston.
