Tim Dennis played his 200th Wivenhoe Town match on Saturday as the Dragons drew 1 - 1 at Kirkley & Pakefield

200 games for Wivenhoe Town, it’s been a pleasure! Some more enjoyable than others but all important in their own right.
- Tim Dennis

Tim joined the club for the 2011 / 12 season and made his competitive debut at Wisbech Town on the 13th August, the Dragons lost 3 - 0.

In his 200 games, he has scored 13 goals. Whilst primarily a central defender, he has also played in midfield and even spent a brief spell as a central striker. Dennis was a big part of the 2015 / 16 title winning side. He played 39 games as Wivenhoe Town won the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties First Division title.

Tim Dennis is only the second player to have reached the 200 appearance mark during the club's time in the Eastern Counties League, he is just the 15th to have reached 200 games for the first team since 1954 when the club was playing in the Colchester & East Essex League. A big part of the club's history and a firm favourite amongst Wivenhoe supporters.
