Where do Wivenhoe Town play?

We play home games at the BLACKSTONE STADIUM, Broad Lane Sports Ground, Elmstead Road, Wivenhoe, Essex, CO7 9HX - just 3 miles from Colchester Town Centre and 1.4 miles from Wivenhoe Train Station.

How do I get to the BLACKSTONE STADIUM

By Car: Directions can be obtained via google maps by using the above postcode. We are located on the junction of Elmstead Road and Brightlingsea Road.
By Bus: From Colchester North Station catch the 62 bus to the first stop in Wivenhoe (outside the flag public house). Elmstead Road is a short walk back the way the bus came and the ground is a further 10 minute walk to the end of Elmstead Road.
By Train: Wivenhoe Train Station is a 25-30 minute walk from the ground (1.4 miles) and can be reached from London Liverpool Street, Clacton, Walton-on-Naze, Colchester and Colchester Town Stations.

Where can I park?

There are plenty of car parking spaces available at the stadium, all free!

What time do matches start?

We play our home games throughout the season on a Saturday and Tuesday dependent on our fixture list from August through to the end of April. Saturday games kick off at 3.00pm and midweek games at 7.45pm.

Where can I buy a Matchday Programme?

Programmes are £1 and are available at the turnstile.

What Facilities are at the ground?

Clubhouse Bar

Once you are in the stadium you are more than welcome into our Clubhouse Bar which is usually open from 2.15pm on a Saturday (or 45 minutes prior to kick off for evening games).

Club Shop

The Club Shop is open on Saturday matchdays from 2.15pm (or 45 minutes prior to kick off on evening games), at half time and after the game on request. It is located at the end of the Clubhouse, just past the players tunnel.

Available for purchase are replica Wivenhoe Town shirts(for all ages) and other merchandise such as hats, scarves, pens, keyrings, mugs & badges.

Food Outlets

We have a kitchen open from 2.15pm on Saturday Match days (or 45 minutes prior to kick off on evening games) which serves hot food and hot and cold drinks.
